This is going to be a long one, so if you're short on time come back later
Ok, lets start of with:
Other
-For one, I don't know how I missed a week. I guess it's just been busy this past week and it all bled together. Anyway, I'm going to start presently and move backwards, as to set it up for a credit roll. hrm... that was funnier before I typed it. alas. So Yesterday was a killer. I woke up and did a few chores and a little reading (I will explain what I'm reading later). The second half of the day was dedicated to climbing down a mountain, hiking a riverbed, crawling around in a cave (Which is a lot harder than you'd think) and then reversing the process. After that, I spent about 45 minutes wrestling a coworkers son, and another 30 minutes shooting some clay pigeons. This was all topped off with an hour long hay ride and some bonfire time. All-in-all, a good October 30th was had.
-This week at work was very exhaustive, but I managed to stick very close to my temporary mantra of "No Fussin'" and, honestly, it has made me feel a lot better. So my advice to everyone is to not complain. Your life is either not THAT bad, or it is, and you probably can't do anything to fix it, so you might as well go along for the ride in either case.
-The reading I've been doing is The Dresden Files. A series of 12 books buy Jim Butcher about resident to Chicago and Wizard: Detective Harry Dresden. Throughout the course of the books (I'm on the 3rd one now) He tries to solve some kind of dilemma that is usually plaguing him when the book starts, if not, then very soon after. They are most excellent so far, as I am not much of a reader (unless I can find something to catch my attention) and I would recommend them to everyone. The first book is Storm Front. I am very against spoilers, so I'm not going to go over anything in the book and just encourage you to read it yourself.
-Haunted house! Last weekend, we went to the local haunted house and paid our 5 bucks to get in. The strobe lights were so disorienting I was pretty much to distracted to be scared by any of the surprises lurking behind sheets and covers. The Lady on my arm all night, however is a different story. Every time someone/something would jump out she would shriek and clench my arm. I was pretty sure it was going to fall off. At one point she even threw me at the monster (thanks sweetie). Survival instincts I guess. It was well done and I'm glad I went.
-New desk for my computer. for the past three months my computer desk has consisted of some boxes left over from unpacking on the floor. Leaving me very sore after any prolonged usage of my computer, but I am now happily typing away atop my self-assembled desk, also borrowing one of the dining room chairs, sshhhh.
Call of Duty
I haven't really gotten to play all that much this week, with the work and the reading and the being very very tired. If I had to come up with something, then I would pick when I was playing Domination on Vacant. My team had just captured point 'B', leaving the enemy only 'A', as we already owned 'C'. 'C' is the one in the back with two ways in. I was using a Barret / Spas-12 with Lightweight/Marathon/Sitrep. I was watching one door, the on least guarded and picked off three would-be assailants of my precious 'C' point. I switched to my Spas and ran to the door to find a fourth coming through it. Fortunately, his bad aim was weak against my shotty. "We are losing 'C'!" the computer exclaimed. but that was right behind me. As I turned, I could see some dim-witted terrorist spinning around and idly staring at the ceiling. He must have thought he was pretty slick. I proved him other wise with my knife. As I saved 'C', I noticed that my teammates had somehow let 'B' fall into the grasp of our enemy, resulting in a spawning patter that would leave me surely to die. I dropped my predator missile, but to no avail, as half of the map is inside a building. As the enemy rush the now virtually undefended 'C' point, I fell to the floor and held my grenade. At least they would take it without a fight. As I recall, my team still lost, due to their desire to play TDM instead of domination, but it was still fun.
Food
-So.... many.... cookies. Between bake sales cold and boredom, the house was filled with the smell of treats, nearly the entire week. The ones I feel are most qualified for speaking about are the Lady's Ginger Snaps. I thought I would sure die and go to heaven right there on the spot. She was a little nervous because the recipe called for Molasses, but I told her her honey would do just fine and I was right.... Ok, she knew it would anyway, but still. I did convince her to add a little chili powder to one batch to zest them up a little over the top and she reluctantly agreed. I thought they were delicious, but she said she couldn't notice.
-We finished off the gift card to cracker barrel and got a little candy afterward as well. And this week's meals included Sheppard's Pie and Chicken Parmesan.
-The Sheppard's Pie is pretty easy, the key is to make sure you use the right amount of meat (I generally prefer a bit more than most people: O-blood and all.) and to have kick-ass mashed potatoes (which I do).
-The Chicken Parmesan was all the Lady's doing. I cut the chicken and then let her to it. She used the Kraft special Parmesan and whole wheat noodles and topped it with some more of the home-made sauce we had in the freezer. The end result was delicious, as her food always is.
-The aforementioned co-worker had some amazing chili when we went to her house. I should have taken her up on her offer to take some home, but I was too tired to eat, let alone think about taking some home by the end of the night.
Pathfinder
This week's session (well, last week's since there wasn't one due to the Halloween festivities) consisted of hunting down some crazy vampire sorceress in the middle of this giant crazy castle. Before we could get to her, we had to mow down two or three dozen zombies and take down a shadow monster from beyond this realm (which my character got a lucky hit off on doing 90% of it's health, sorry to the DM). A few other minor encounters (not to exclude the Vampiress' ghouls, lower level vampires) and that was pretty much it. He gave us scripts occasionally to include us in the role playing and we called it a night.

Prestigious idiots
First, I'm going to go with CoD. If you don't care, move down past it.
CoD
-I prestiged again. Which, if you don't know, means that, even though I've already gotten to the highest level (8 times), I decided to do it again. I start from level one and lose all of my weapon progress.
-Anyway, after I managed to unlock my custom classes, I ran around, somewhat to my surprise, like some kind of superhero. I lit up that battlefield like the Fourth of July. Supply drops were falling all over the place and I got like 4 turrets, yet I still haven't been able to get the final kill with one of said turrets.
-Final note on CoD is that kids are stupid and shouldn't be allowed to play games online. And what bothers me more is when people (kids) think that one broken aspect of a game is ok, but another is not.
Dinner
-The lady and I ate dinner at Cracker Barrel with a gift card I received for my birthday. It was delicious as always, but I came to a shocking realization... My mashed potatoes are better... The food was good (fried shrimp)
-Sunday night was fish night. The super awesome part was (aside from my mashed potatoes) MAHI MAHI! The fish was covered in a lemon, honey and pepper sauce towards the end of it's cooking, which set off the flavors of the fish very nicely. I'm pretty sure we could have used catfish or salmon.
-As I was spending time with a friend, the lady produced an apple cobbler of delicious proportions.
Other
-Netflix this week was Tales From the Crypt, which is always a hit. and Critters. Another movie from my favorite genre: 80s.
-Is there anyone actually reading this?
Pathfinder
-This week was another week of me DMing. During these times, I like to take the oppurtunity to look up new critters and make some subtle (or not so much) jokes, as well as adding a fair difficulty level with a neat concept.
-The fairy tale reference this week was Goldilocks. A Drow (dark elf) druid and three bears (which was a lot harder to come up with than you'd think. I had to make one of them younger and add difficulty to the other two.)
-The Travelers then traveled to a swamp town to await the arrival of the sea fairing ship. During their wait, the town was attacked by frog people. We fought them off and finished waiting for the ship.
-While on the open sea, the ship was attacked by a giant Octopus and three sea trolls. After they dispatched those foes with reasonable ease, I was sure the final encounter of a couple crab people would be no problem. We almost died. It was insane. CRAB PEOPLE.
-Finally, we entered the village to find the Tia' Dalma clone to cure us of our long standing ailments. HUZZAH!

CoD and Something Fishy
Tonight's brief story is about the CoD I played and the dinner I ate, in reverse order.
Food
-There were some nice cuts of salmon on sale at the store, so we bought them, and I requested a pasta salad as the side. If you remember one of my earlier posts, there was some agave glazed catfish action. Well, this was agave glazed salmon. I spiced up the glaze a bit. I added a healthy bit of ginger and added Worcestershire Sauce, one of my favorite toppings/seasonings/condiments. Bake for a while and delicious.
-The pasta salad had a balsamic vinaigrette reduction with garlic, orange peppers, tomatoes, and zucchini with some Parmesan and scallions. Oh, obviously pasta as well (not elbow macaroni, that crap is gross).
CoD
-I was playing domination on Storm, trying to get some FMJ kills with my Wa2000, which you should know is impossible, but I managed to get 10 in one life during that match. Got a 17 streak. It was like they were lining up for me to get them behind some surface. Not very exciting for anyone other than me, but I enjoyed it.
-a more exciting note was a riot shield note. I was playing domination. At the end of the match, my measly 6 kills had more points (due to captures) than the 27 and 28 kill players. I was rivaled only by the guy who got a nuke.

Mandatory post
I feel like this post is going to be kinda lame, but there is going to be a new category. =] But I need to make sure I post at least weekly to not fall out of the habit.
-I'll start off with CoD today.
There was one shining moment, well... One shining result after a few dull matches.
Somehow, six buddies from one clan got into one Free For All Match. Between the six of them, they were trying to Boost (If you don't know what that means, then comment and I'll explain it). The first match I played, I knew it would be rough, but I'm not a quitter, especially when there are boosters to stop.
I got wrecked.
But every match, I got a little more aware of their play-style. But in the fourth match, I placed. In the fifth, I was using the FAL with Scavenger, Stopping Power, and Steady Aim. I managed to thwart all of their boosting attempts get a few Kill Streaks and defiantly managed to get the last take-down. Game winning Cam and everything. When the round was over and we were sitting at the lobby screen, one by one, then left the room I had been fighting them in.
They got wrecked.
-Ok Food
Nothing to flip out over, but to sum up: Mashed Potatoes and a Giant steak (Nom Nom Nom). And The lady made even MORE pasta sauce. It was delicious, as always. Now, we have enough sauce to feed an army... with sauce. One note worth remarking on is Ruby Tuesday's. We ordered a fish dinner and I got a chicken tender dinner (I love chicken tenders). The lady's dinner came back under-cooked. SO... It was free! And she got a new one to take home. We each also got milkshakes! ok, that's enough use of exclamation points.
-Other
There is no other news to report, except that there is a new category. It is listed below.
-Pathfinder
Pathfinder is a role playing game. It's actually a spin-off of D&D. I'm going to start breaking down the story and events.
Previously, the three party members ( a rogue, a barbarian, and a Troll Fighter (A fighter who is a troll) Entered the town of [Esra] and met an enchanter, some people call him Tim. He sent us to this bizarre little town full of nothing and deadness, leading us to some dead-end clue about some sorcerer trying to become a Demon or something. One of the other members and I switch off running the game, and this week was mine.
I planned out a dungeon that played off of the rogues lock picking ability and the other two characters strength and acrobatics. I had them cross a bridge with a Troll underneath of it. and passed through some scary woods with creepy undead thingies. Followed up with two gargoyles at the castle entrance. Then end boss was a Medusa with 2 Animated statues as guards.
One funny note, I decided to put a mimic inside of a Gelatinous Cube. Good times are had by all blah blah blah.
Good night world

Pizza and a frightened lady
Brief complaint- I need a new mouse. That's all.
Anyway, This week I played a LOT of Plants vs Zombies, played some CoD, ate my standard meals and chilled.
If you haven't checked out PvZ yet, you should do so. It's cute and fun and has a nice calming little mini game called Zen Garden in which you spend (too much) time watering and nurturing your little plants that you get from playing the bonus modes.
Next is CoD news. I got the extended mags for the Famas (newb gun, but I wanted the titles) and overall I've played pretty solid this past week. There was one, very rude, young kid making racial comments and another man explaining that all people are descended from the original peoples of Africa, not just him. blah blah blah now for food.
Food
The lady and I made our own Pizza, completely from scratch (well not the sauce, maybe next time). there was enough dough for two pizzas, so one was black olive and hamburger and the other (hers) was sauteed broccoli and onion. As for the dough, it was pretty simple: teaspoon of salt, 2 cups of flour, 1 (.25 oz) packet of yeast (prepared with the appropriate amount of water) and 2 tablespoons of oil (olive).
-Prepare yeast and mix with other ingredients until well mixed and stiff. Cover and leave to set for 30-60 minutes. separate in size of pizza desired, top and bake for 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Eat and don't burn your mouth.

-Went to the movies on Saturday. We were going to see Legend of the Guardian, but they're only showing it in 3D, which is stupid, so we watched Easy A instead. It was good. Had a nice feel good ending with some wholesome lessons and some inappropriate joke or two.
-Then we watched The Princess and the Frog. Another wholesome movie from Disney. Adorable and all that crap, and the songs were ok-good too. Everyone loves N'orlans (New Orleans), anyway.
-Today I convinced her to watch Cloverfield with me, she spent half the movie snuggled in a cliche 'scary' movie fashion. I guess it was adorable. anyway, the movie: 7/10

Less CoD more... Other stuff
Ok, so this week my internet has been kinda crappy due to rain of biblical proportions. Due to this, I have struggled to get my CoD time in, check my email, blog, and more...
Anyway, the cool stuff I was talking about:
-I got Plants vs Zombies on the XBox 360. I was super stoked about it. I've been waiting for it to be ported from the PC for over a year. It's super fun and everyone should check it out. It's available for the Xbox 360, PC(personal computer... the thing you're probably on right now) and iPhone/iTouch.
--The story is simple: plant adorable vegetation to fend off the veracious (and equally adorable) zombies from munching on a brain pudding. With awesome puzzles and an extended arcade mode, it's guaranteed a great time. As a special feature only available on the Xbox, you and a friend can team up or head off in CoOp and VS modes.
-A really neat board game (I love board games, and parenthetical explanations)
-+-It's called Red Dragon Inn (there's also a sequel).
-+-You pick a character to play and meet up with your friends at the local mid-evil tavern. You spend your turns either trying to get rid of all the other characters money or make it so that their alcohol level exceeds their fortitude.(no real booze need be involved)
-+-The characters are funny and the drinks are absurd(Troll swill?! YUCK), so it's almost a guaranteed good time for anyone, if you can get past the silly theme.
-A story I found a long time ago and occasionally remember is HARRISON BERGERON by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
--It's about an archaic future in which equality is imposed on everyone. I feel it's a cool little segment and a short read (It's like 2 pages)
-Tricky Trivia! Placed 3rd, got a T-shirt!
--A local Sports Bar has a trivia night every Thursday and if there's a tie, then the teams in question Chug off to determine the winner. (Me)
-FOOD
--I've eaten pretty well this week, got to have some Mongolian Grill, so I was happy about that but as for home made food:
-+-Moroccan stir fry (peanuts, rice, vegees, and some kind of meat... beef I guess)
-+-Tonight I had some awesome Lemon Artichoke Chiken.
===Zucchini, onion, chicken(obviously), as much garlic as you want(I always end up using like an entire head), and artichoke(I use hearts). Cook everything and simmer with a lemon sauce/juice until done. Then top over noodles of your choice and enjoy. Like I've said before, if anyone ever reads this and wants to know more, just ask.
-Now a little CoD
--Aside from the 4 matches I spent struggling with my internet(In which I performed astoundingly, but didn't count due to disconnects) I had a decent week. I leveled up a few times unlocked the extended mags for the vector and called in like 5 more AC 130s. Unfortunately, I don't have any remarkable stories, it was just your average good playing. Have a good night everyone (or however long until I have something else to say).

Just another day... of relaxing before work.
Ok, Sunday. What happened today?
Played some CoD.
ate dinner(I'll go over the dinner after CoD)
Nothing to spectacular. Still working on getting extended mags for the vector. 16/40 FMJ take downs.
I did manage to get 3 AC130s today, that was cool. one was in Free for all: Stage = Vacant
It was pretty sweet. I got my predator missile and looked for cover, dropping someone on the way with my dual FMJ vectors (6 streak), maybe a little excessive. Then I ran in front of some boxes and went prone. Then dropped it on someone outside by the crates (7 streak).
--Harriers! Unfortunately, I'm out of bullets for my vectors. sidearm, magnum. Drop the harriers, but they do nothing. Before I could run around some more a man walks in front of me. 4 rounds did the trick (8 streak),
--reload. Repeat(9streak).
--I'm down to 6 bullets now and someone has heard the commotion. I hear their footsteps as they round the corner, still unsure as to where I'm laying. As they come into my view, I unload the remaining rounds (10 streak).
--As they fall, I see the shimmering steel hope they left for me. an ACR with red dot. He knows where I am, now. I have to make the next shots count. As he comes back to exact his vengeance I watch the doorway he's sure to come through. Every second seems like the perfect opportunity for someone to sneak up behind me and end my all hard work. WAIT, there he is. Squeeze. "AC130 available!" the announcer screams.
--The remainder of the round is spent running around waiting until there are only a few kills left to go, then I call in my mobile artillery in the sky. I fire off the cannon once and 1 to go. But everyone else is inside. I can't see any of them. I don't want to have missed my opportunity.
--But there; someone decided to come looking for me outside, all the excuse I needed. *Clunk* as the 120mm shell leaves the craft. BOOM, confirmed. Good night, charlie.
Now for dinner
The lady made up some perch, baked sweet potatoes(sliced thin), and baked carrots, But me..... FRIED GREEN TOMATOES
I saw the green tomatoes at the farmers market Saturday and knew that soon, I'd have a delicious southern treat. But I'd never done it before. How do you bread things? Egg.... um... cornmeal? There has to be more to it than that I thought. So, to the internet: dry tomatoes. Flour. Coat in egg. Coat in breading as follows:
--cornmeal, breadcrumbs(I used stuffing mix crushed up), pepper, salt, ans spices of choice(chili powder)
Then just butter up the pan and fry, easy as cake. and just as delicious.
The Perch was topped with oregano, spices and a little cheese, and was just as good. Next time, though it's Catfish.
